Who Attends Adult Education?
Adult Education is an option for those who:
did not complete high school and are required to have it for a job
immigrated from a different country and don’t have credentials needed, or
want to expand skills and knowledge.
What Are My Learning Options?
We provide on site lessons from Monday to Thursday from 9AM to 4:30PM. We also have a variety of online learning options with more coming soon!
How Do I Know Where To Start?
Before starting your learning journey, you will be taking an assessment to determine what level you’re at and what would benefit you the most.

What Is Literacy And Basic Skills?
Literacy and Basic Skills are the foundation for successful daily interactions. This program helps English-speaking adults function more effectively, prepares them for skills training or high school, and improves their overall employability. The learners develop essential skills in: reading, text document, writing, numeracy, oral communication, thinking, working with others, computer use, continuous learning.

Parking is free on site at Niagara West Adult Learning Centre.
